He attended the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon and began working in written and radio journalism at an early age. He built up a strong and wide-ranging professional experience as a director of communications for the Government of Portugal and developed a specialized career in corporate communications. In 1998 he founded JLM&A and established an international network of partnerships. He led the internationalization of JLM&A with the opening of offices in Angola and Mozambique.

With a degree in Communication Sciences, he began his professional career as a journalist, a practice he carried out for more than 14 years. He was a writer and editor in the economy, society and politics sections. Later, he was deputy director of the weekly newspapers “O Independente” and “Euronoticias”. He has also contributed to various publications and blogs such as the monthly discussion magazine “Atlântico” and the daily “i”. He currently writes a monthly column in the specialized magazine “Meios e Publicidade”. Vítor Cunha has extensive experience as a public relations consultant. From the financial sector to healthcare, technology and industry, he has worked with multinationals and institutions in markets such as the UK, India and Brazil. He joined JLM&A in 2004 and is a director and shareholder of the company. He is also on the board of directors of JLM&A – Mozambique and JLM&A Angola.

Graduated in Communication Sciences – Consultancy from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. Executive MBA student at Católica Porto Business School. He was a trainer at the University of Porto in the area of Press Relations, between 2020 and 2022. He has extensive experience in political communication, having developed communication strategies for several electoral campaigns, and in the health sector, having been a communication consultant for several hospitals. As press officer for the Centro Hospitalar Universitário de São João, a role he held between 2019 and 2023, the communication work carried out during the pandemic was recognized as good practice by the World Health Organization. He was also responsible for the development and first implementation phase of the strategic communication plan for the new Executive Board of the National Health Service. He was a partner and director of K – Comunicação e Estratégia (now JLM_K) between 2015 and 2024. He is currently partner and COO of JLM_K.

He has a degree in Social Communication from the Escola Superior de Jornalismo, a degree in Design Thinking from the Porto Business School and a degree in Chief Sustainability Officer from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. He was a journalist in the written press – in the newspapers O Independente, Metro, Motor and Correio da Manhã, in the areas of politics, international politics and motoring. He was the author and producer of several programs on Rádio Nova Era, a contributor to Rádio Nova and Rádio Comercial, and was part of the initial team at Quatro, now TVI. He has been a political, institutional and corporate communications professional since 1998, working with various institutions and companies, both public and private, Portuguese and multinational, in strategic communications and public relations consultancy and advice. He founded the Press-a-Porter, CCCP and K (now JLM_K) agencies, led the communications team for Rui Moreira’s independent candidacy for Porto City Council in 2013, and was the draftsman of the election manifestos for the “O meu partido é o Porto” movement. A regular author of opinion columns in the Portuguese press, he published the book “O Porto é uma Nação” in 2022.

She has a degree in Business Communication from ISCAP and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Marketing at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto.
She began her professional career at a digital marketing agency and has since gained experience in developing external and internal Corporate Communication strategies in the areas of health, education and retail.
In the last two years, she has worked as a Communication Advisor at the Centro Hospitalar Universitário São João, working on optimizing digital communication.

He has a degree in Communication Sciences – Consultancy from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. Completed the curricular component of the Master’s Degree in Service Management at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto. He is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Political Science at the University of Minho.

She dedicated the first few years of her career to innovation communication and environmental communication. Later, he took on the challenge of political communication, having advised two campaigns in the 2021 Municipal Elections. At the end of 2021, he joined K – Comunicação e Estratégia (now JLM_K), where he advised a campaign in the 2022 Legislative Elections. From 2022 to 2024, he embraced the challenge of municipal communication, serving as Press Officer for the Municipality of Gondomar.

He currently continues to provide consultancy in the area of political communication and participates in the communication management of the company’s client portfolio. Since 2024, she has been part of the press office team at the Tâmega e Sousa Local Health Unit.

Master in Political Science from the University of Minho. Author of the thesis “Politics and Social Networks: The use of Facebook by Independent Movements in the Campaign for the 2017 Municipal Elections”. With a specialization in Political Communication, she signed the article “An Essay on Populism and Online Social Networks” on the brink of the COVID-19 pandemic, when some political leaders considered populist were already spreading fake news about the disease.

She joined the staff of K- Comunicação e Estratégia (now JLM_K) in 2020. She has accumulated experience in municipal and trade union communication and, more recently, in health communication, as press officer for ULS São João and consultant for health institutions.
