In the context of the March 2024 legislative elections, JLM&A public affairs team analysed the electoral programmes of the Democratic Alliance, the Socialist Party, the Chega party, the Liberal Initiative, the Portuguese Communist Party, the Left Bloc, the Livre Party and the People-Animals-Nature Party.
This report analyses each party’s position in key sectors, providing a detailed and comparative summary of their proposals. Their position regarding tax and income policy, proposals for the housing, energy, and technological sector, as well as the measures announced for health and education are among the topics analysed.
Another dimension analysed is the digital presence of political parties and their leaders on three social networks (X, Facebook and Instagram), with the PCP, Chega and AD leading the total number of posts in the period analysed, accounting for 60% of the total. The report also provides an insight into the reach of the political message and the interaction that exists within each political family.
